Chris addresses youths, families and staff at Rideability, a therapeutic equine program in Rochester, Minn., as part of his 50-state, 100-day journey in the summer of 2015.
Chris Strub recently became the first man to live-stream in all 50 U.S. states, but he is not new to the digital space. In varying capacities, Chris Strub has been telling the stories of others for more than a decade.
Since his days designing front pages at the local newspaper, Chris has pushed the boundaries of digital storytelling, recently completing a 50-state, 100-day journey to share that gift with youth organizations nationwide. Chris's one-of-a-kind approach to social media has been featured in more than 30 local media outlets, including FOX 5 NY, Newsday, The Burlington (Vt.) Free Press, FOX 5 Las Vegas and many more.
Chris believes strongly that social storytelling is crucial to any business, and is seeking to partner with an organization with its own incredible stories to tell.
Chris currently resides in Greenville, S.C.
As the Social Media Director at Ad Elements in Binghamton, N.Y., Chris moderated a series of panels about social media for local businesses in both Binghamton & Winter Park, Fla.
So, what IS #TeamStrub?
Each #TeamStrub visit included two interviews: a YouTube interview, 10-15 min. in length; and a SnapChat interview, available immediately on SnapChat and permanently on Facebook. Each organization also signed my car.
You can see the SnapChat interviews from all 50 states on my
Facebook page here. (On mobile, go here and click videos)
To watch any of the #TeamStrub YouTube interviews, click the dropdown menu to select Day & State. The default is the Grand Finale from Asheville, N.C. , but most of the videos are about 10-12 min. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to be notified of future videos!
... why?
I love traveling. I love social media. And I love making a positive difference. By visiting youth organizations in all 50 states, I've been able to do what I love. Isn't that what life is all about? (Read all of the interviews with me here.)
Okay ... now what?
I am currently seeking my next career opportunity, where hopefully I will continue to tell amazing stories in innovative ways. Think I'd fit at your company? Let's talk.
Change, One Organization at a Time.
To me, nothing trumps one-on-one attention.
That's why I traveled around the country,
sequentially visiting organizations in all 50 states.
My new goal is to continue to DIRECTLY help
as many organizations as possible.
