Chris visited St. Louis to present social media training sessions in both Missouri and Illinois in March, then returned to St. Louis to help the St. Louis Community Foundation stream their giving day on May 1.
Give STL Day 2019 featured more than 850 participating nonprofits. Thanks in part to social media, #GiveSTLDay yielded a 25% increase in donations over 2018, closing over $3 million.
Chris was introduced to the San Antonio nonprofit scene at The Big Give 2019 kickoff event in November, offering a three-hour training session to nonprofits who signed up for early registration.
Chris joined The Nonprofit Council team for their kickoff event on Big Give eve, then executed 25 live-stream Facebook Live videos in
24 hours, yielding more than 47,000 organic impressions.
Chris was first introduced to the idea of giving days in the summer of 2017, meeting with Cara Baribeau and the team from the Community Foundation of Louisville.
Chris has helped CF Louisville pioneer using live-streaming video both in advance of their giving day, with the 'Getting to Know the Good' series, & on their giving day, #GiveForGoodLou, for four consecutive record-breaking years.
